Too bad, he is a natural! Was hoping they would get rid of keefer, rycroft and liles. Keep Foote, John Mitchell and Eric Lacroix. It makes a much better broadcast. Those guys are too busy being clowns while the other guys just talk hockey and are actually paying attention to what's going on during the game!!!

Footer, best of Luck in Van - sorry I didn't get to see you coach in Kelonwa - guess I know what jersey I'll be wearing when the Avs play the Canucks next year :) #52

I agree, Foote was a natural as an analyst. Best wishes for him. I don’t care for Eric Lacroix the analyst. If I remember right he wasn’t well liked in the dressing room was he? Some guys saw him as a spy/nark for Daddy. Oh well, it’s gonna probably be a revolving door since McNab’s passing.

Great article AD and your sentiment is exactly right - only the best of wishes for a truly all-time great Av who was a big part of providing us with so many great moments! An aside...since the topic of the Stanley Cup video has been discussed on here, which led to some reminiscing about the 2001 Mission 16W version...it's for the briefest of moments, but during the montage of moments capturing players responses once the Cup was in hand being passed around...Adam Foote came across as the coolest hombre (tipping his hat and making a fleeting facial expression) on a team full of some pretty cool customers...
