It’s great to see hockey at all levels flourish and grow in the real State of Hockey! From Apres Ski to Cow Pies - owner Bob Bowden must have some ties to the once dusty old cowtown. I haven’t been to Greeley in a while - nice to learn they have a retail/dining/sports arena complex downtown. Should be exciting for the city and the area!
And I have to love the territorial and cultural vibes of the teams - these are mascots at their finest! Ice Wolves, Mudbugs and Jackalopes?? Love it. And Oklahoma City . . . Texas??
The south division they’re going in will have some familiar teams to Colorado Eagles fans. Several cities that were in the old CHL now have teams by the same name in the NAHL.
