X-Colorado Clinches Playoff Berth With Another Comeback Win
Avs dispatch Preds, 7-4, to punch their postseason ticket.

There is no adversity that is too much for this group to overcome. Down but never out.
Trailing 4-2 in the opening minute of the second period, the Colorado Avalanche didn’t just rally back for the win... It ripped through the Nashville Predators for five straight goals and a hard-fought 7-4 statement win at Ball Arena on Saturday night.
So much happened in this game that it’s hard to fully encompass the magnitude of its events into the following paragraphs without rambling on in an incessant diatribe of complimentary statements that don’t connect to one another. It was so fractured that the first period — played just three hours ago as I write this — feels like a completely different game.
At the end of the day, the most important thing to take away from this game was that the Avalanche secured a place in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Since that embarrassing 2016-17 season that finished with a league-worst 48 points, Colorado has made the postseason in the seven campaigns that have followed. Down, but not out.
