WHY?! MacKinnon and Mikko Named All-Stars! No!!

Instead of rest, Avs' top players head across the country to play meaningless exhibition.

What happened, you guys? I thought we were all on the same page here. I thought we all agreed?! Why did you vote for Nathan MacKinon and Mikko Rantanen for the All-Star Game?!

Come on! We need rest more than we need representation in a meaningless 3-on-3 exhibition game! 

The skills competition used to have a certain level of bragging rights if your guy won. Remember when Ray Bourque won the accuracy contest in 2001? That was another win for the Avalanche that season. 

Remember when Kendall Coyne participated in the fastest skater competition? That was because she stepped in to replace an injured Nathan MacKinnon unable to take part. Credit an Avalanche player for making that moment happen! (Not really, but I’m trying to make a point no matter how illogical it is!)
