If you thought because Zach Parise got into it a lot with Avs players over the years as a member of the Minnesota Wild, or NY Islanders, that they hold a grudge against him and don’t like his being signed by the team? You got it wrong.
Avs players, particularly the veterans I’m told, LOVE the acquisition of Zach Parise. They think they got a guy who is a tough, gritty gamer who can still score goals and lend some leadership to the room.
Parise can be a swiss army knife with this team. He can ably fill in on the top-six, or play a solid, defensive, checking game on a third our fourth line.
