I don’t think Alexandar Georgiev was the main reason why the Avs lost to the previously 2-6-1 Chicago Blackhawks at home last night. He allowed three goals on 24 shots and made some tough saves.

But the numbers are still the numbers. And the numbers of Alexandar Georgiev right now are: 1-4-0, 4.62 GAA and .822 save percentage. That save percentage is dead last in the NHL among goalies with a minimum three games played.

Today, the Avs recalled Kappo Kahkonen from the Colorado Eagles. In two games as an Eagle, he lost both games, but had good numbers otherwise: a .919 save percentage and 2.57 GAA. That gives the Avs three goalies on the roster.
