Everybody thinks the Avalanche will win the next Stanley Cup. At the sportsbooks, they are the No. 1 betting favorite. Pundits everywhere say they will win. Heck, even I think they’ll win it.

With expectations comes pressure, and so Jared Bednar has a lot of that right now. Of course, he’s always had pressure here. Every NHL coach is under a lot of pressure to win.

But this year is a bit different.
