“What time is your bedtime?” 

You don’t often hear one announcer ask another that question during play of National Hockey League game broadcast. But when things were going as well as they were on Saturday night, Marc Moser had a little leeway in the Altitude broadcast to ask that question to Corbin, the kid announcer for the night.

Avalanche fans haven't been treated to a game that allows the broadcast to be that carefree in a long time, but that’s what a full 60-minute minute effort resulting in a 7-0 win against the visiting Senators will do.

The negativity surrounding the previous 1-6-1 stretch had crept into nearly all aspects of Avs coverage, present company very much included. But, guess what? I’m all the way back! This is the best team in the league again! 

Well, I’m actually getting way ahead of myself. That’s what Saturday’s dominating performance has done.
