And it was after the team fought back late in the third period to force OT and secure a point.

And it was with the third-string/AHL goalie making his second straight start (played well, too!).

And the team is still missing its captain and No. 2 defenseman.

So wait… was it really that bad?

No.

Sure, Colorado saw its 17-game home winning streak snapped Monday night in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs. But the Avalanche are still 19-0-3 at Ball Arena this season, with 41-of-a-possible-44 points on home ice.
