Ray Ferraro: Avs Need A Scorer
What would the esteemed hockey analyst trade to get one if he were Avs GM?
Ray Ferraro has long been one of my favorite hockey people, not just because he’s one hell of an analyst but also because he’s a great guy above all. There’s never a game I watch where Ferraro does the analysis where I don’t learn something new and valuable about the game.
Ferraro has done a couple of recent Colorado Avalanche games, including the 5-0 loss to the Lightning Friday night, for ESPN. I asked him after that game what he thinks of the defending Stanley Cup champs and what they need moving forward. His answers came before the Avs beat Florida, with five goals on the board, so bear that in mind.
