Miles Wood Signs With Avalanche

Still waiting on the contract number, but we have a free-agent signing for the Avalanche: Miles Wood.

He was a guy I said yesterday to keep an eye on, as I’d heard there was considerable interest in him, and now he’s an Av. He’s a tough, grinding winger who can score a little. I think he’ll look real good on a third line with Ross Colton and Logan O’Connor.
