MacKinnon Hits 100 Points as Avs Blank Blackhawks, 5-0

ESPN furious as Connor Bedard held in check by Colorado!

There was a time when we, as fans, all waited for the moment Nathan MacKinnon would finally break through and hit the magical 100-point milestone. It finally happened last season and we all felt a sense of relief when he notched the overtime winner on a breakaway to beat the Sharks, getting him to the century mark in the Avalanche’s 76th game of the season.

Now? We expect it. 

We also used to expect ESPN to be a solid broadcast partner. Now? We don’t. 

There was a lot to this 5-0 game. Unfortunately for ESPN, none of it had anything to do with Connor Bedard, who finished without a point and was a minus-3.
