That was… not good.

I mean, let’s be honest: the Avalanche are still 6-1-0 this season and the joke of 82-0 was never a reality.

Every once in a while, good teams throw out a stinker. That’s what happened Thursday night in Pittsburgh as the Colorado Avalanche tasted the sourness of a defeat for the first time this season, as the Penguins won, 4-0.

It wasn’t like the Pens were dominant in their four-goal victory that snapped the Avs’ NHL-record 15-game road win streak. It was that they were good when they had to be and Colorado was not good at all… like ever.
