Game of the Year: Avs Erase Early Deficit to Beat Dallas, 6-3
Falling behind 3-0 is usually bad. Tonight in Dallas, it was just an appetizer for the 6-goal main course.

Best game of the season? Best game of the season, right?
Like, I understand it wasn’t the best or most complete game the team has put together all season, but Saturday night’s 6-3 win in Dallas had to be the most important of the young campaign for the Colorado Avalanche.
Trailing the Stars by three points in the standings coming into the night, this was a huge Central Division match-up. It wasn’t that the Avs played poorly early on. To the contrary, actually. Colorado was pretty strong in the opening period, but fell behind 2-0 on goals from Tyler Seguin and Joe Pavelski. A second tally from Seguin 2:12 into the middle frame made it a three-goal game and a solid effort was seemingly going to be wasted in a loss.
Then things changed just past the mid-way point of the contest.
