Some quick Tuesday thoughts ahead of tonight’s game in Calgary.

Before I begin with the Avalanche, I wanted to pass along a quick update on Dater and why he’s been MIA the last few days. 

Adrian has some medical issues he’s dealing with recently and has been tending to them privately. For those who jump into the in-game chat, he’s made you aware of some of the things he’s been battling. I spoke with him briefly this morning following a procedure yesterday and he’s doing as well as can be expected and is recovering comfortably from the surgery. He appreciates the well wishes and is looking forward to tonight and getting into the chat (if he can stay awake).

So until he’s back and ready to write, you’re all stuck with me. Sorry.
