Dater: Why I Think Alex Galchenyuk Will Be A Hit This Time Around
He's the replacement for Artturi Lehkonen, and this time I think he's ready
You look at the numbers of Alex Galchenyuk’s recent NHL career and you certainly come away feeling underwhelmed. In his last 64 games in the league, including four this season with the Avs, he’s got six goals and 21 points. He’s played for SIX NHL teams since 2019.
But, call it a hunch: I think Galchenyuk is going to play well for the Avs as the replacement to injured top-six forward Artturi Lehkonen - who had surgery today on a broken finger suffered two nights ago in Montreal.
