One game does not a hot goalie make. If Alexandar Georgiev goes out there and lays a couple eggs in his next few starts, critics will point to last night’s sterling performance against the Detroit Red Wings as the aberration, not the norm, to his season.

At press time, Scott Wedgewood was slated to start tonight’s game in Newark, N.J., against the Devils. I won’t be surprised if Jared Bednar calls an audible, though, and goes back to Georgie.
