Dater: Just Make The Playoffs Now

Not to get all Dater Downer here, but I’ve kind of written off the Central Division for the Avs now and think we all need to just focus on one thing for the rest of the season: just make the playoffs.

The Avs are nine points back of Winnipeg in the division. Each team has played 49 games. The Avs have eight-point leads on Vancouver and St. Louis for the first wild-card spot in the West, a nice lead. But the Canucks have two games in hand on the Avs, and the second wild-card spot holder (Calgary) have three games in hand.
