It's a slump, not a crisis

I seem to recall a column I wrote earlier this season where I was clutching the pearls a bit on the Avs. Then, they went right on a tear, to the top of the Western Conference at one point.

A lot of Avs fans are clutching the pearls again. They’re 0-3-1 on this road trip, with a date tomorrow night in Washington. They’re 4-5-1 in the last 10, fourth overall in the Western Conference and the team that set an NHL record early this season for most road wins in a row is now 12-12-4 away from Ball Arena. The scoring is down and the defense and goaltending have been sub-par of late.

Am I worried again? No. Not really.
