OK, so I just re-watched the entire third period of Avalanche-Stars Game 7 from a few months ago, because the option of immersing myself in a vat of battery acid wasn’t available.
I couldn’t then, and even more so after watching it again: I can’t believe the Avs lost that game. It was 2-0 early in the third period after Nathan MacKinnon scored on a delayed penalty to Jamie Benn. The Avs were looking DOMINANT to that point, giving Dallas nothing, with the crowd at American Airlines Center on mute.
