Dater: Georgiev Or Annunen? And, Does It Matter?

“He’s gotta come up with a big save for the guys.”

That’s what Jared Bednar said after yesterday’s Vegas meltdown about Alexandar Georgiev, and, for him, that was a very unusual statement. Bednar doesn’t spare the rod to his team publicly after bad performances, but rarely does he make anything about an individual.

Now, perhaps Bednar was just talking about the very game itself, the third period and OT. But was he talking more in general about how things are going now and the recent past - and, taking a look at the road ahead?
