Cale Makar Likely To Be Suspended (Update: One Game)

I’ll say one game. One game for Cale Makar, who will have a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety for a hit on Jared McCann last night, is my prediction. But I won’t be shocked if it’s two.

UPDATE: It was, indeed, one game. NHL just announced it.

McCann appears to be seriously hurt from the hit. The Kraken are saying he won’t play for Game 5 tomorrow, and likely won’t be available for some time beyond that. He was Seattle’s leading goal scorer this season, with 40.
