The sky is, in fact, not falling after Friday night.

But in Toronto, outside of what we all still call Air Canada Centre, it was dumping snow on the city and the rink. Inside? The Avalanche were dumping goals on the Maple Leafs.

Brock Nelson continued his incredible stretch of play since November with his first hat trick in an Avs uniform. Two goals from the second-line center, separated by just 72 seconds, was all Colorado would end up needing as they rebounded from a disastrous third period on Friday with a dominant first on Sunday.

That fast start proved far too much for the home team to overcome as the Avalanche opened their four-game road trip with a 4-1 win.
