Avs Player Grades from Loss To Wild

MAF stones 'em

Can’t win ‘em all, but this was a disappointing loss for the Avalanche. A matinee home game on a holiday, and they just kind of laid an egg. Just not enough offensively, and when they did have some good chances, the ageless Marc-Andre Fleury was in the way.

Some grades:

Devon Toews (B+) - Not much wrong with his game today, although he shares in a general offensive malaise that gripped the team today. But he was very solid in his own end and logged his usual heavy minutes.

Cale Makar (B) - Seemed a tad slowed by his bruised foot from the other night, then he almost suffered a bad right knee injury in this one. Didn’t have his usual dynamic performance, but was still pretty darn good.
