Avs Notebook: Will Mikko Be Heavily Booed?

Not during the look-back video he won't

Earlier this week on Twitter (never X to me), I ran a 24-hour poll that asked the question: “Avs fan, will you boo Mikko Rantanen when he returns to Denver Sunday?”

The final results: Fifty-six percent said yes, and 44 percent said no.

When Rantanen touches the puck for the Dallas Stars tomorrow night, I expect the sound inside Ball Arena to sound just like that poll result: mixed. Mikko’s reputation with Avs fans has definitely taken a hit since his trade to Carolina - then later to Dallas.
