I remain a skeptic

There was some report out of Russia recently that implied a Valeri Nichushkin return to the Avalanche in November was mostly a fait accompli. My initial reaction was: It’s a report out of Russia, take it with a grain of salt the size of Pike’s Peak.

Russian hockey reporting is notoriously wroooong a lot, and I’m not trying to slight the hard-working men and women who cover the sport there. It’s just, a lot of things are often lost in translation or basic facts are wrong and … you get the point.
