Avs Continue Biding Time
Sorry for lack of any posts the last couple of days. Pat is still in Italy on a family vacation and, my hand to a Bible, I had no internet at home for two days after a lightning bolt struck my house.
Honestly, it sounded like a bomb, early Monday morning. While no damage to the house itself happened, the bolt shorted out some electrical items in the place, including my internet modem. Also blown out was the motor to a section of my expensive, electric reclining couch, the part I always sit on.
DaterJinx, indeed.
A new modem is on order, and I’m using a library wifi here, but honestly there wouldn’t have been much to report the last couple days anyway.
The Avs took a couple days off and are starting to resume practice now. No Josh Manson yet, but I have to assume he would be ready for Game 1 against either Minny or Dallas.
