Shhhh, don’t tell my wife I snuck Bernie onto the “pretty” tree...

I’m going to keep this short and sweet because it’s Christmas Eve, and my wife expects me to be “with family” rather than writing about the Avalanche.

But I’d be remiss not to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) for a quick Christmas recap of last night’s 1-0 win over Utah.

Each team dressed 18 skaters and played one goalie. That’s 38 total players who appeared in the game.

One had a point.

Sam Girard’s unassisted breakaway goal stood as the lone tally, and Scott Wedgewood made sure it stayed that way… we think.
