Avs Beat Down Bruins and 'Show us the Jersey Already!'
Avs dominate Bruins at Ball
Here in New Hampshire, today has been an enjoyable morning at work. I’m not gloating — believe me, I’m not — as we’ve got another game this weekend in Boston and the Avs’ track record lately in Massachusetts is… not great. But the usual bluster from the Bruins fans around the office is a bit more subdued than normal after Saturday night’s 4-1 dismantling.
The win keeps the Avs rolling along at 5-0-1 and a league-best 11 points to start the season.
Following the second-line awakening Thursday in Columbus, it was back to business as usual for the top line Saturday night against Boston. Nathan MacKinnon scored twice, Martin Necas sealed things with an empty-netter from distance, and Artturi Lehkonen quietly facilitated everything with three primary assists… each one without a secondary helper.
