Avs GM MacFarland hints at Nichushkin future
The Avalanche just held a couple of Zoom calls for the media, with Gabe Landeskog and GM Chris MacFarland.
Let’s go through some of the highlights, including a hint from MacFarland about the future of Valeri Nichushkin:
Landeskog, who will have cartilage replacement surgery tomorrow in Chicago, said he has “not contemplated retirement at all” and said he’s been told his type of surgery has a success rate of 85%.
Said Landeskog: “I’m confident I'll get back on the ice and make a big impact, so I'm excited about that.”
