Avs looking at a pair of players from Western Michigan
Does the name Max Sasson mean anything to you, Avs fan? Probably not. But, it might at some point soon.
The Avs, my sources indicate, are interested in signing the 6-foot-1, 180-pound natural centerman who is in his sophomore season with Western Michigan University. The 22-year-old lefty has 31 points (eight goals) in 28 games for Western Michigan and is expected to leave the school when the season is over and try to turn pro.
And that’s not the only Western Michigan player the Avs might well be interested in, if he too leaves the school after this season.
