When he was on the ice, times were mostly all good for Pavel Francouz and the Avalanche. As time went on, however, he was mostly off the ice, too hurt to play.
Today, the Avalanche announced that Francouz, the Avs’ backup goalie on the 2022 Stanley Cup champion team, is done for the season. For him, it never even started. Francouz will have his contract cap hit of $2 million be permanently put on LTIR for the rest of the season.
