Andrew Cogliano Won't Be On Ice Anymore, But Will Keep Helping Avs Off It

There is no question Andrew Cogliano could have played another NHL season, either with the Avalanche or someone else. At 37, he has remained durable, and a good-enough depth player to still be on the ice in this league.
But with an offer of an immediate front-office job in front of him from the Avs, Cogliano officially retired today. He leaves having won a Stanley Cup as an integral member of the 2022 team, and an ironman-type of career for several teams.
