A Goalie Dilemma? Who Would Have Believed It!

Do we… do we have a goalie dilemma right now?
After another strong performance Monday night against visiting Nashville and all of the sudden Alexandar Georgive is looking like a serviceable goalie again.
Who would have thought just a few short days ago that Colorado would have a goaltending conundrum on its hands. It seemed like Justus Annunen had taken over as the team’s No. 1 netminder with far more consistent play between the pipes in his starts. Head coach Jared Bednar has a bit of a different view and gave the nod in the crease to Georgiev for three straight games.
That decision has paid off.
In those three efforts, the Avs are 2-1-0 (a lone 1-0 loss at WInnipeg being the only blemish) and Georgiev boasts a 2.33 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. His season totals are still not great, but that is reflective of his terrible start to the season that put Annunen in position to steal the top spot. Or so we thought.
